Perfect for my needs!

Got the crime scene lab kit for my daughter's birthday and she absolutely loved it! It had so many cool experiments and everything was included. Shipping was super fast too. We're already planning our next order!

Always reliable for lab supplies

I've ordered from Biologyproducts a few times now for my classroom. This last order, for dissection tool kits and a preserved fetal pig, arrived quickly, just like before. The quality of the specimens and tools is consistently good. It's why I keep coming back, honestly.

Good deal on prepared slides

I was looking for some prepared slide sets and found a good offer here. The pricing was competitive, especially for the number of slides I got. It felt like a good use of my budget. Delivery was on time.

Smooth order, good quality frog

I needed a preserved frog for a home science project. Ordering was straightforward on their website. I used a guest checkout, so no account needed. It shipped pretty fast, took about 4 days to reach me in California. The packaging was secure, no leaks or damage. The frog itself was well-preserved and exactly as described. I also got a basic dissection tool kit, and those were sturdy enough for the task. Customer support wasn't needed, everything went well. Overall, a solid experience from start to finish.

Decent value, small issue

I purchased a set of preserved earthworms and a magnifying glass for a biology unit. The price was good, especially with the volume discount. Everything arrived within a week. The earthworms were well-preserved and came in a good container. My only minor complaint was that the magnifying glass felt a bit flimsy; the handle had some play in it. It still worked fine, but I expected it to be a little more robust. Customer service was helpful when I called about tracking though.

How do these guys compare to Carolina Biological or Ward's Science? Prices better, quality similar?

E Emma R. 3 weeks ago
I think their specimen quality is pretty comparable to Carolina, maybe a bit cheaper on some bulk orders. Ward's usually has more variety though.

M Mary Allen 3 weeks ago
For preserved stuff, I often find Biology Products to be a better value than Ward's, especially if you're buying for a whole class. Carolina can be hit or miss on price.

Thinking of getting a preserved fetal pig for a project. How's the shipping usually? Does it take forever to get to, say, California?

P Patricia Robinson 1 week ago
It was pretty quick for me to Washington, like 3-4 days. They pack them really well too, no leaks or anything weird.

P Patricia Brown 1 week ago
I'm in Arizona and my last order came in about a week. They ship them all sealed up, so shouldn't be an issue even with a bit of travel time.

Anyone know if Biology Products is legit? Or is it like, some random drop shipper? Trying to make sure I'm buying from a real supplier.

W William Robinson 3 days ago
They're totally legit. Been around forever, pretty sure they're part of Bio Corporation. My university uses them.

Yeah, they're the real deal. Not a fly-by-night operation. Used them for years for lab supplies.

What's their return policy like? Just in case the specimens aren't quite what I expect, is it a huge hassle to send stuff back?

M Mary Roberts 2 weeks ago
I had to return a microscope once, and it was pretty straightforward. Just call them up and they'll give you instructions. Not too bad.

P Patricia 2 weeks ago
Returns were easy for me last month. They just want the stuff in good condition, obviously.

Hey, I'm trying to order some dissection kits for my homeschool group, but I don't see any obvious coupon codes. Do they ever do like, public discounts or is it all for big schools?

M Michelle Brown 1 month ago
Nah, I've looked before too. It's mostly institutional stuff, like if your school district orders a ton. They do have a spot for codes at checkout though, so maybe they have some for special groups or something.

L Laura White 1 month ago
Yeah, I think it's mostly about volume. I got a bulk discount for my classroom once, but that was through a quote. Might be worth asking them directly if your homeschool group is buying a decent amount.

Does anyone know if their preserved specimens are formaldehyde-free? My school is really trying to avoid that stuff.

B Betty Rodriguez 1 week ago
Yeah, they have an option for 'formaldehyde-free' or 'Bio-Pure' specimens. Just make sure you select that specifically when you order.
4
A Amber K. 1 week ago
They do! We always get the Bio-Pure ones for our lab. Just check the product description, it should specify.

I need to get a bunch of stuff for a new lab setup in January. Should I wait for any seasonal sales or do they just do specific educational discounts?

J Jennifer 1 month ago
They often have 'seasonal lab kit sales' around those times, like back to school or new semester. Worth keeping an eye out in December/January for sure.
4
M Matt W. 1 month ago
Yeah, January is a big time for them for orders. I've seen them push out some good offers for lab kits then. Might get lucky with an introductory offer too.
